This blog is merely the contribution of a Film Critic for 20 years and former president of Quebec Film Critics Association. I decided, with help from colleagues, to revisit things as the humble film buff who once was. I would like to draw attention in a comprehensive way to films, either the ones you may have missed, or are already among your beloved ones, rather than going for the usual analysis or critique.

  1. Hello,

I enjoy that you post about many films around the world and offer a wide range of genres to learn about. The information about each film posted allows your audience to truly understand what each film is about.

My team has a new short film called Trouble Will Find Her. It is the story of a Toronto transplant struggling with guilt, relationships, and the life she left behind. You can view the short here:

We just released our short film this past Thursday and are starting to get some small attention for the film- Director’s Notes featured it as well as Film Shortage.

It was directed by Nickolas Duarte and produced by our team Crown Chimp.

I think Trouble could be a good fit for your audience and I hope that you consider it.

Regardless, I look forward to seeing your next post about a film from other countries so I can learn more about their films and techniques to portray their stories.

    Thank you for your time,
    Kendall Noonan
