Jens lien is one very interesting film maker.
In a dreamlike fantasy, a man arrives in a new city where he is instantly provided with job, lodging… and a beautiful wife! Everything fine. But he starts asking questions…
There is this strange irony and series of happenings in Bothersome Man. It recalls the writings of Kafka. It is also filled with this insane and dark humor we find in numerous Scandinavian films. Fabulous actor Trond Fausa plays it like everything going on was not so abnormal. But it is. Each situations ends in leading to another that is equally odd and absurd. Pure fun.
Bothersome Man is one strange surreal oddity made with engaging style.
